Mike Welch is a Senior Advisor at Litix, where he brings more than 30 years of Massachusetts public education leadership to the company's product strategy and customer relationships. Mike served as Superintendent of Dedham Public Schools for nearly nine years, was High School Principal at Framingham Public Schools for nine years, and held principal and vice-principal roles at Newton South and Newton North High Schools. He started his career as a science and physics teacher in Belmont Public Schools. He has had experience as a Superintendent whose teachers went on strike (Dedham - 2019), and a union negotiator for a teachers union that went on strike (Belmont - 1995). Mike continues to shape the next generation of education leaders as a faculty member at ACCEPT Education Collaborative's ELI Program and MASTERCLASS for Superintendents — and brings that same practitioner perspective to the districts Litix serves.
