New Look, Same Mission: Our Story, Progress, and Where We’re Headed Next

When my co-founders and I started this company, we weren’t trying to build the next unicorn tech startup. We were trying to solve a problem we’d lived with for years.

As school administrators, we sat across the bargaining table knowing the unions had better data than we did. We watched colleagues spend weeks calling neighboring districts, compiling spreadsheets, and hiring expensive consultants—only to walk into negotiations still feeling underprepared. We saw HR directors drowning in compliance tracking, juggling multiple platforms, and losing sleep over whether every staff member and coach had completed their mandated training before the next audit.

We built this company because we believe public sector leaders deserve better tools—purpose-built for the challenges they actually face, not generic enterprise software adapted as an afterthought.

That mission and conviction hasn’t changed. But a lot of other things have.

Where We Started

Some of you knew us first as ArxEd. Under that name, we started right here in Massachusetts—the state where we’d spent our own careers in public education and municipal leadership. It was the natural place to prove that our approach could work.

And it did. We earned the trust of over 80% of Massachusetts school districts, built partnerships with organizations like the Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents and the Massachusetts Municipal Association, and grew to serve more than 150 partner districts with our compliance training platform. Along the way, we maintained a 97% customer retention rate—a number we’re proud of not because it’s a good metric, but because it means the people who use our products genuinely find them useful.

More than anything, it was the feedback from our customers that fueled what came next. Superintendents told us that our data transformed how they approached negotiations. HR directors told us they finally had a training platform their staff would actually complete. That kind of response doesn’t just validate a product—it creates a responsibility to bring solutions to more people.

How We’ve Grown

With that foundation in Massachusetts, we expanded—first into neighboring New England states, building partnerships with organizations like NHSAA in New Hampshire and then we continued to expand in the West Coast with partnerships like ACSA in California. Each new market taught us something. Different buyer roles. Different regulatory environments. Different negotiation dynamics. We adapted our platform and deepened our data to meet those realities, and the response has been the same: leaders who see what Litix can do don’t want to go back to the way things were.

Along the way, we also evolved from a single product into a platform with two distinct solutions. Litix Insights gives district and municipal leaders the salary benchmarking, settlement forecasting, and budget modeling tools they need to negotiate collective bargaining agreements with confidence. Litix Academy delivers engaging, concise compliance training—not just click through—while giving administrators the tracking and documentation they need to stay audit-ready.

As our platform grew and our footprint expanded, we realized our brand needed to grow with us. The name Litix stuck because it captured what we do at our core: bring clarity to complex decisions through data and analytics. But the visual identity hadn’t kept pace with the company we’d become.

A Brand Built on What We Believe

Today, we’re introducing a refreshed visual identity for Litix—a new look that better reflects who we are – an established and trusted public sector partner – and where we’re headed.

When we set out to define this brand, we started with a simple question: what are the characteristics that show up in everything we do—our product, our team, our customer relationships? Three words kept coming back.

Collaborative. We believe the best outcomes come from working alongside others, not positioning against them. That’s how we work with our customers, and it’s the dynamic we help create at the bargaining table—negotiations grounded in shared data rather than adversarial guesswork.

Humble. We lead with substance over show. Our customers are public servants doing demanding work with limited resources. They don’t need flashy promises—they need tools that deliver. We prioritize usefulness and integrity over recognition or flash.

Disciplined. We hold ourselves to an exacting standard because details matter when the stakes are high. When a superintendent is preparing for a negotiation that will shape their district’s budget for years, or an HR director needs to document compliance for an audit, precision isn’t optional. It’s the foundation of trust.

You’ll see these attributes reflected throughout our new identity. And if you look closely at our new logo mark, you’ll notice it’s inspired from the form of a chess piece—a deliberate choice. The leaders we serve are making strategic, high-stakes decisions every day. Our job is to make sure they’re working from a position of strength: informed, prepared, and confident.

Where We’re Going

This rebrand isn’t purely cosmetic. It’s a signal of what’s next.

The progress we’ve made in Massachusetts, New England, and California has given us the foundation to think bigger. Nationwide expansion is on our longer-term roadmap, and we’re investing in our platform, our team, and our infrastructure to make sure we’re ready—not just to grow, but to deliver the same quality experience our earliest customers have come to expect.

We’re also deepening our commitment to the municipal market. The challenges town administrators and city managers face in collective bargaining are just as real as those in K–12—and in many cases, even more complex, with multiple unions on staggered negotiation cycles. We’re building the tools to meet that complexity head-on.

Same Team, Same Mission

A new look doesn’t change what’s underneath. We’re still the same team of former educators and public sector practitioners who built this company because we knew there had to be a better way. Our support is still responsive. Our data processes are  still rigorous. Our commitment to the people doing this work is still the reason we show up every day.

To our existing customers: thank you. Your trust—and your feedback—is the reason we’re in a position to grow. You’ll see the new brand roll out across our website, platform, and communications, but the product and the people you rely on aren’t going anywhere. We’re only getting stronger.

To the leaders we haven’t met yet: we built Litix for you. Whether you’re preparing for your next collective bargaining cycle or looking for a better way to manage mandated training, we’d love to show you what’s possible when you have the right tools on your side.

And to the Litix team: the employees, leaders, and collaborators who made all of this possible: none of this happens without you. Every data point we’ve collected, every feature we’ve developed, every customer relationship we’ve built is a reflection of your work and your commitment to this mission. Thank you.

Here’s to the next chapter.
